![]() The Black Law Students Association hosted its annual Community Service Week from September 24 to 28, 2012. The purpose of was week is to address non-law related community needs in Charlottesville, VA. This week's events were highlighted on the University of Virginia School of Law website and University of Virginia School of Law Facebook page. Thank you to everyone who served! Community Service Events: 9/24/12 Books Behind Bars Volunteers checked books for markings, stored books, and read letters from inmates and gathered the requested books. 9/25/12 Board of the School Thrift Shop Volunteers cleaned the exterior and interior of the building. 9/26/12 Crozet Elementary School Volunteers worked directly with kids either at the school's library fair and participated in various activities with kindergarten classes. 9/27/12 Piedmont C.A.S.A Volunteers hand addressed envelopes, cleared out office space, and built storage shelves. 9/28/2012 Habitat for Humanity Volunteers helped build a house.

Your Association produce etremely nice work for environment! It also important to note, that volunteer of BLSA share interesting books to inmates and change the shape of extraordinary buildings.
