We believe the best talent is diverse in many ways, including gender, race, sexual orientation, gender identity and national origin. A diverse talent base provides the range of experience, approach, and judgment necessary to achieve the best results for our clients and creates the most collegial and interesting workplace environment.
Achieving a workplace environment that encompasses diversity is a fundamental core value at King & Spalding. The King & Spalding Diversity Fellowship Program furthers our commitment to recruit, retain, and promote talented lawyers who will contribute to the advancement of diversity within the firm and in the legal profession.
Once again, we are proud to award up to four fellowships to qualified second-year law students who show promise of contributing meaningfully to the diversity of the legal community. Each recipient receives $10,000 and a summer clerkship at King & Spalding's Atlanta, Charlotte, Houston, New York, San Francisco, Silicon Valley or Washington, D.C. offices the summer following the completion of your second year of law school. The program is available to any student with an ethnically or culturally diverse background.
We invite you to visit our law students career page to learn more about our summer program and to apply for our Diversity Fellowship Program. Applications must be received on or by September 7, 2012.
As rising second-year law students, you will soon start the process of determining where you will begin your legal career. We hope you will consider King & Spalding as you begin this important process.
We look forward to hearing from you.
