What your support means to us. 
It means we excel academically. Our chapter maintains a casebook library in our office space at the Law School. We currently boast a collection of over 300 casebooks and resources which are loaned out for use by our members, often cutting their overall cost for required materials by 50-80 percent. As we continuously update our library, we aim to have at least one copy of every required text for 1L students across all ten sections each year, a goal which can cost as much as $2,500 a semester. 
We are positively impacting the community with your help. Each year we send some students on our all expenses paid International Service trip to provide pro bono service overseas, an overall cost of over $15,000 made possible by generous donations to our chapter.
Because of your support we succeed professionally. Our chapter annually sends multiple teams to compete in NBLSA Moot Court and Mock Trial competitions. Many of the competitors representing Virginia Law are 1Ls. Through your gifts, we are able to cover all competitor fees and competition expenses, approx $700 per team.

BSLA ENDOWNMENT FUND
Gifts in support of the BLSA Endowment are critical to ensure the longevity of UVA BLSA’s programming and growth. In conjunction with the Law School Foundation we encourage alumni to designate their gifts to the “BLSA FUND.” 

We ask alumni to support the UVA BLSA tradition of excellence by pledging a BLSA FUND restricted gift to the Law School Foundation
